Our journey as farmers in the Tanana Valley has inspired us to grow cannabis with care for the earth, using sustainable practices and minimal energy inputs. While indoor growing might offer control, it didn’t align with our vision. Instead, we embraced the challenge of cultivating cannabis outdoors in Alaska’s far north, where the growing season is short, and late-summer weather can bring cool, wet conditions that risk mold at harvest.
The midnight sun guided our decision to focus on autoflowering strains, which flourish without the need for light manipulation. Growing directly from seed allows our plants to thrive with hybrid vigor, resulting in strong, vibrant growth. While each seed carries its own genetic story, creating natural diversity, we see this as an opportunity to craft something unique.
By working with reputable autoflower seed breeders and developing our own strains, we’ve created cannabis varieties tailored to the Tanana Valley’s climate. Over time, we’ve carefully stabilized these homegrown strains for consistency, always innovating and refining them to grow beautifully in harmony with our environment. For us, it’s more than farming—it’s a celebration of the land, the plants, and the possibilities they bring.
